Stegmann was founded in 1959 by Dr. Gerhard Stegmann. The company started as a small family-owned business and grew to supply a number of industries ranging from automation, robotics, machine tools, packaging, material handling, and medical technology.

In 2002, Stegmann was acquired by SICK AG, this allowed SICK to expand its product portfolio and strengthen its position in the automation and control market.

Alpha Electrics have enjoyed 20+ years repairing Stegmann encoders, and our team are capable of part sourcing and complete repairs with impressive turnaround times

Our PGT11 encoder testing facility, allows the Alpha Electrics team to identify exactly what is faulty and also to reprogram your faulty encoder.

Stegmann Encoder Repairs:

Stegmann encoders are of a very high calibre, however over time and use can encounter issues such as data corruption, incorrect hyper parameter tuning, faulty components, insufficient memory, or software issues.

Alpha Electrics conduct repairs on a wide variety of Stegmann encoders including both the DB and Coretech ranges.

Our repair process starts with a thorough inspection of your faulty encoder, whereby our team will outline all issues found and a proposed plan of resolving these alongside a detailed quotation.

All Stegmann encoder repairs are typically carried out within a 4 - 5 day timeframe. We also offer a fast track option for business critical situations. With this option issues can often be resolved in as little as 2 - 3 hours.

For added reassurance, we provide you with a 1-year warranty on all repairs carried out.
