Upon receiving your faulty Baldor servo motor we test all electrical and mechanical issues allowing us to create a servo motor ‘footprint’. This is a reproduction of the motor’s exact performance output.
All Baldor motors are equipped with a brake assembly and resolver which our team can test and replace, adding a greater level of longevity.
Alpha Electrics’ bespoke Baldor testing hub provides exact electrical alignment data against manufacturer’s specifications. This allows us to restore your faulty motor to it’s original working
condition. With over 1000 servo motor repaired each year, our Baldor trained engineers regularly receive outstanding feedback from customers across the world.
Servo Drive Repair:
Our Leicester based workshop comes complete with a bespoke Baldor testing bench where every faulty servo drive can be fully inspected utilising all the necessary facilities including manufacturer compatible software.
Our Baldor servo drive repair service includes drives such as the AC MicroFlex, FlexDrive, MintDrive, Euroflex, and MotiFlex series, alongside the TSD and the UM DC series.
Once we have received your faulty drive, our in-house inspection service includes checking circuitry cables, power supplies and electrical components. We then generate a report outlining existing faults, and how we intend to fix the problem along with a detailed quote.
Our procurement network allows us to source parts that can not be repaired and our 1 year warranty gives you peace of mind on the repairs we have carried out successfully.
AC/DC Motor Repair:
All our Baldor AC/DC motor repairs take place at our Leicester based workshop utilising our Baldor trained technicians that fully inspect each and every aspect of your faulty motor.
Our Baldor AC Motor repair service covers ranges such as the Super-E, General Purpose, Sever Duty and Explosion Proof Series. Our DC repair service has included the Nema Frame, Washdown, Metric Frame and Power Model Range.
Repair work starts with a thorough investigation at our Baldor testing hub. Here, we assess and generate a repair report outlining all the problems we have uncovered and the proposed course of action. Once approved, our Baldor trained engineers start the repair process working to an approximate repair time of 4 - 5 working days. Should your repair require a faster turnaround (such as in business critical situations) our service can support a 2 - 3 hour timeframe.
After the repair process is complete, all facets of your motor are thoroughly tested out to ensure full compliance with the OEM’s specifications before returning back to you for reinstallation.
