Alpha Electrics is committed to quality and every process within the business has been designed with maximum quality in mind – from the way we respond to enquiries, to the training and development of our expert team of engineers and to the delivery of our core services; the repair and supply of industrial electric motors.
This commitment to quality has resulted in loyal satisfied customers, a dedicated and continually-developing team, and our excellent reputation within the industry.
“Delivery of a quality service to our customers – and the constant improvement of our highly-experienced team – is a major reason Alpha continues to grow and succeed in business after 30 years,” says Company Director, Rajesh Patel. “We measure our success not just in turnover and profit; responding to feedback, exceeding our customers’ expectations and retaining staff for the long term are just as important.”
Furthermore, our commitment to quality is also recognised through our association with various organisations and standards, all of which place huge importance on quality:
ISO 9001 Compliance
ISO 9001 is the definitive international quality standard. It not only requires that organisations have a quality management system in place, which is regularly audited by external experts, it also expects continual improvement. Alpha Electrics has been ISO 9001 compliant since 1996. Our quality management system (QMS) is reviewed quarterly by our management team and adhered to by all employees. Everyone is encouraged to come forward with ways to improve the QMS, either in response to customer feedback, new technology or improved and more efficient ways of working.
Membership of the AEMT
The Association of Electrical & Mechanical Trades was founded in 1945 and is an International association representing companies in the electrical and mechanical service and repair industry. Membership of the association requires compliance with their Code of Business Practice.
Constructionline Silver Member
Founded over 20 years ago, Constructionline allows customers to identify high-quality construction suppliers quickly and easily. Membership of the Constructionline scheme requires compliance with PAS 91, a government-commissioned standard, developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI), which aims to standardise the prequalification process for buyers. Alpha Electrics is a Silver Constructionline member, which means we also comply with additional non-compulsory sections of PAS 91.
Not only is Alpha Electrics a member of the CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme), we are also CHAS-Accredited Contractor. This extra level of compliance involves a detailed assessment of our policies and procedures, as well as checks to ensure that we comply with all current legislation.
Customers regularly tell us that our internal commitment to quality, backed up by the above external accreditations, gives them the confidence that we are the best partner for them. They know we are best placed to undertake their electric motor repairs, deliver fast and reliable commercial building services, and provide advice on the best new motor products for their precise requirements.
We will be looking at each of the above accreditations in more detail over the coming weeks. In the meantime, if any of the above prompts any questions, please do get in touch.
